The InsuranceNoodle network connects over 6,000 agents and brokers in 50 states with leading commercial insurers including AIG, Chubb, The Hartford, Safeco, St. Paul, Travelers and Zurich. 

InsuranceNoodle offers commercial insurance products for over 1,450 types of businesses. Agents who use the InsuranceNoodle system get access to products and quotes from multiple carriers using a single application data entry system. This is backed up with support from a state-of-the-art service center staffed by licensed insurance agents who work with technology and the carriers to place risks and to provide servicing of in-force accounts.

As a wholesaler, InsuranceNoodle is the silent partner in the agent’s relationship with the small business owner; the producing agent retains control of the client relationship at all times. InsuranceNoodle currently has more than 2,500 active NoodleNetwork agencies across the country that use the e-broker's patented online technology platform to write and service small commercial business.

In April 2007, the company was  issued a patent for its innovative, proprietary web-based technology platform that facilitates online application and quoting from multiple carriers for a variety of commercial insurance products. The patent is  valid until 2024.

The firm merged with XL Capital, acquired Insurance ViaNet and now employs over 80 people. Insurance Vianet Inc. is the holding company of InsuranceNoodle Inc., Noodle Specialty Brokers, a division of InsuranceNoodle Inc. and InsureVianet. Insurance Vianet was formed in 2003, after the acquisition of InsureVianet from XL Capital.
